TK and Leiden

Since time immemorial, TeekensKarstens has had strong ties with the city of Leiden in all sections of its society. This is not only shown by the fact that we celebrate the 3 October festivities en masse. Many of our employees form part of the management of societies, networks and organisations within Leiden and surrounding areas or are members of these societies.

There are also close ties between Leiden University (particularly the Faculty of Law) and TK, which results in extremely close cooperation. Many of our employees studied in Leiden and can still regularly be found in their old 'haunts'.

TK staff lecture at the Faculty of Law. Lecturers from the Faculty of Law provide training and courses to our staff within the framework of our internal training institute recognised by KNB (professional body for notaries) and NOvA (Bar of the Netherlands).

The reciprocal exchange of knowledge goes beyond just the office on the Vondellaan.

This close collaboration was recently made concrete in a Partnership Agreement between TK and the Faculty of Law. In this contract, far-reaching agreements have been made on cooperation in the field of education, knowledge transfer, provision of information and participation in the employment market.
These agreements enable TK to improve the quality of its services, the (internal) training and career development of its employees even further.
